Raw & Well is an educational, science-backed meal-planning calculator. This page explains the limits of what our Service provides and when You must consult a qualified professional. Please read it carefully.

1. Educational & Informational Purpose Only

The information, meal plans, nutrient targets and calculations provided by the Service are for informational, educational and mathematical planning purposes only. The Service is a software tool that applies published mathematical formulas (primarily the National Research Council’s Nutrient Requirements of Dogs and Cats, NRC 2006, with FEDIAF 2024 safety caps) to the information You enter.

2. Not Veterinary Advice or a Medical Device

The Service is not a medical device and does not constitute veterinary medicine, animal nutrition counselling, diagnosis or treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, illness or medical condition. Outputs are general calculations based on published standards, not individualised clinical advice for Your specific animal.

3. No Professional Relationship

Using the Service does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship between You and Raw & Well, its team, or Dr. Sarah Missaoui. Content reviewed by a veterinarian is provided for general education and does not replace an in-person examination of Your dog.

4. Always Consult a Licensed Veterinarian

Always seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian or other qualified animal-health provider with any questions about Your pet’s health, diet, weight or medical condition — especially before making significant dietary changes, or if Your dog is a puppy, pregnant, lactating, senior, or has any medical condition (such as kidney, liver, orthopaedic or gastrointestinal disease). Never disregard professional veterinary advice, or delay seeking it, because of something You have calculated or read on this Service.

5. Emergencies

If Your dog is showing signs of a medical emergency — including collapse, difficulty breathing, repeated vomiting, suspected poisoning, bloating, seizures or severe pain — do not rely on this Service. Contact Your veterinarian or a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic immediately.

6. Assumption of Risk

Reliance on any information or calculation provided by the Service is solely at Your own risk. A&H UNITED TRADING LTD assumes no liability for health outcomes of pets fed according to the Service’s calculations. This disclaimer forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
